OK, week one is out of the way and the score was Conas 7 - Húsares 6
This game was always going to be about defense. As you can see by the score line. First half saw Conas offence coming out with their option running game, which worked for them really well as they were moving the ball up the field. Húsares defense took a while to get going they could not find their rhythm. Conas offence score a Touchdown after some good tough running by their Running Backs Elias Jarufe and Felipe Reisch. Húsares offence was playing in patches in the first half and could not make any yards at all. That’s how the first half ended.
The second half was nothing like the first. Húsares came out firing in all cylinders. Their offence started moving the ball up the field with good running and blocking from their Running Back Benjamín Castro and Fullbak Ítalo Caceres.
Conas defense had no answer to the running game as Húsares were making 5 to 6 yards a carry, which led to their Touchdown. Conas defense were struggling and had no answer to Húsares offence. Conas offence was struggling as well as Húsares defense were ruthless, they were like tackling machines. It went to show that Húsares at half time changed their game plan which seemed to work for them. They shutout Conas outside running game. Conas had no answer as they persisted to try to run to the outside, which only meant one thing, their QB getting gang tackle every time.
The last 2 minutes of the game were the most exciting bit of football that I have ever seen, it went to show how good Húsares Wide Receivers and QB were. But at the end of the day Húsares were their own worst enemy as the made to many mistakes.
I will be giving away points for MVP of the match.
3 points - for (as much as I hate to say this) Ítalo Caceres it really showed the experience of this player as he led the team in offence and defense.
2 points - Felipe Reisch had a good solid game in offence and defense a true leader.
1 point - Danilo Coatts for his effort and courage on the field.

OK, here we go.

“The Green Machine” is slowly coming out of its shell.
OFFENCE
This offence has improved over the weeks and it shows on the field, and with their starting QB back on the field it showed that they were a different team from last week. Their Offensive Line and Running Backs are getting better as the week’s go by. This can only mean good things for them as they are moving the ball with no problems at all. As it showed on the weekend, once the running game was on track it open up the field for their receivers who made a lot of catches.
DEFENSE
This defense looks good, but like I keep saying every week. They are strong in the middle but very weak on the outside run. But they have improved a bit on this department; the left hand side seems to be the only problem now. They also need to tackle as it showed on the weekend they were their on every play but could not tackle the ball runner.
Overall this team is coming along very well, only need a couple of minor adjustments and they should be OK.

The Dream Team or the Dolphins, you take your pick.
OFFENCE
Finally they have an offence and guess what, it works. Their Offensive Line did a good job, but what they have to remember is to block their 1st level then go to your 2nd level. The QB is improving, and like I said before is going to be very hard to read on the option. They have a very fast back field, but what they have to remember is to use all their players, not just one.
DEFENSE
Solid defense, but what they have to remember is to stick to their assignments. On the weekend most of them were taking themselves out of the play. Remember you play as a unit.
Overall like I say every week, this team is the most experience out of the 3 and it’s to see that they are finally getting their act together.

the team with the least experience.
OFFENSE
They came out with a new offence on the weekend, and it looked pretty good. The Offensive Line just has to remember to keep on their man and it should work out. Their back field is doing a fine job and just has to remember to read their blocks. Their QB is coming back from an injury and is getting better as the week goes by.
DEFENSE
Out of the 3 teams this is the hardest hitting defense (when they get it right). All they have to remember is to play as one and not for each other. They seem to be struggling a bit on their pass coverage, but it should improve as time goes by.
Overall this team is coming a long very slowly. Only time will tell how good they can really be.

OK it’s that times again, the coach’s weekly report.

Today (Saturday) Húsares came out firing in all cylinders. They were well prepared on both sides of the ball. I think these guys learnt a thing or two, compared to last week (see what happens when coaches don’t argue, you get a better result). They came out with a plan an executed it very well.
OFFENCE
They seemed to have found the right combination on the O´line, needs a bit of work but it should be better as the weeks go by. What they need to learn is to keep chopping those feet and finish the play of (what I mean is hit your guy and drive him up field). Like I said before they are a power running team which likes to run down the middle. Their RB´s today did a fair job making at least 4 to 5 yards a carry (which is always good). Their Receivers & Tight End are very deceptive and did a very good job today. Today Húsares run out with their back up QB who seemed a bit lost, and was rushing everything. Need to learn to keep calm and trust your O´LINE, who did a good job on the pass.
DEFENCE
Like I said last week these guys are very hard to run down the middle, but were very easy to run on the outside. But how things change in a week. They were solid all round, but still their CB´s need to tackle or at least hold on to cloth. Just remember one thing don’t ball watch, and stick to your assignments.
Overall this team has improved immensely in a week, they have seemed to have found the right formula. They will only get stronger and better as the weeks go by. They will be a hard team to stop.

The so called Mr. NFL team (or dream team). Like I said last week this team is the most experience team out of the 3, but what is going on (I don’t think they seem to know either).
OFFENCE
They are still trying to find an O´line, which I keep saying it shouldn’t be a problem with all the players they have. Looking at them when they were coming out of the huddle they all looked confused and looked like they weren’t to sure of what to do (it looked like they were going into the huddle and picking plays out of a hat). When you have the two quickest and best running back´s out of the 3 teams, why not use them (speed kills).
DEFENCE
This team has a lot of talent on their defense specially their middle linebacker and their safety who is improving every week. Their D´line did a fair job on stopping the run but were lacking on their pass rush. Their Linebackers were caught out a couple of time on the outside run as they were biting too much on the run down the middle. They were also taken out of the play by their own D´line as they were playing to close to them. Their backfield did a good job today even on the run.
Overall this team has the making of a good team, they have all the tools they just need to put them to use. Their offence is struggling a bit not sure what they are running but they better fix it quick as time is running out, ‘cause you can’t pull plays out of a hat every week and remember like I said last week ¨THERE IS NO “I” IN TEAM¨.

Hooray they have a name. This team is the least experience out of the 3 teams. But they are improving every week. They came out today did what they had to do and did it very well.
OFFENCE
Their O´line seems to be improving, but must remember to keep chopping their legs and don’t stop till the whistle blows. Their Running Back did ok today but must remember to follow his blocks and run north, south and he should be OK. Their Receivers did OK considering they are all Linebackers. They had their back up QB today who did a fair job considering that was his first time.
DEFENCE
This is the no nonsense defense who did a good job today but seemed to struggle on the past play got caught out a couple of times. This defense realizes a lot on their two Outside Linebackers, who did a fine job. Now all they need to do is work on their Middle Linebacker and their defense should run better. They have found a good backfield who did a good on the pass and run.
Overall this team is coming along pretty good. They are a well discipline team who listen to their coaches.

OK it’s getting very close, so how do the teams look so far in their scrimmages.

OK let’s look at the “HÚSARES”, I think that’s what they are called. We will start with their D.
This D is going to be a very hard to run down the middle as they have a very good Nose and Middle Line Backer, but they seem to struggle with the runs to the outside. They have a lot of work to do their. The Outside Linebackers loose themselves (I think to much ball watching). Their CB also a very good pass coverage, like I said before a lot to be desired on them stopping the run game.
OFFENCE - this team have got to look at themselves, they are a running team and a very good one at that. They like the power runs down the middle and I think they pride them selfs on it. But I must say when you are making 6 to 7 yards a carry why stop running, I SAY AGAIN, WHY?. They have a good QB who understands the game and can take the hits, he just keeps getting up. If they want to pass they have to work on their O-line they have the players their, all they have to do is put them in their right place and they have two good Receivers who can catch and run the ball well.
Overall this team has the making of being a good team, if their coaches stop shouting at each other and work together, they will be a hard team to beat.

OK, let’s look at the “CONAS”. The so called LOOK at me, I’m Mr. NFL.
Out of the 3 teams this team has the most experience players, all over the field.
CONAS DEFENCE - depends a lot on their Middle Linebacker on the weekend when he was late it really showed as it was easy yards down the middle (SOFT) you could say 6 to 7 yards. They still haven’t found the right D-LINE yet, it shouldn’t be a problem with so many players on their roster. This may cause a lot of problems further down the line as oppositions O-line will take good advantage of this. Their secondary are a good pass coverage defense especially their safety. But the only problem was that they were wanting on the run. Their safety was probably the only one putting his body on the line (I will give you one tip: try to hold onto cloth next time). They like to do corner blitzes which is good, but next time send someone who can hit (maybe your safety).
CONAS OFFENCE - they run the option, which suites them fine. As they have 2 very strong and fast RB, who are game breakers. They also have talent in their Wide Receivers and Tight End, who can catch and make yards on the play. Their QB is getting better as the weeks go by, he understands the option very well. Only one thing thoe, why does the coach take him out on the pass plays??? Maybe he doesn’t trust his arm, but who knows (I´m only fishing here). The only problem is that they are still trying to work out their O-LINE , especially their centre (here’s a tip, if you have a centre why put him on your D-line where he can get hurt) centre key to your offence . This team overall has the potential to go all the way if they get their D-line & O-line on track. But they have to remember one thing their is NO "I" IN "TEAM".

3er EQUIPO (sin nombre aun)
OK, let’s take a look at the 3rd team the one with no name. This team is probably the one with the least experience of the 3 teams.
Let’s look at the DEFENCE - this defence is a no nonsence defence. It’s tuff and hard with a lot of blitzes, this might be a problem for them as they have a lot of rookies playing. If one assignment is blowen it weakens the whole defence. Having a look at them on the weekend they seem to be lacking in the middle at times, and they gave a lot of yards away. The D-line was soft at times and showed that they haven’t been playing for that long. At times the Middle Linebacker was ball watching, and was lost on the plays, their Outside Line Backers did a fair job, but they want to remember that they can’t let anyone get to the out side. Their secondary is very average and lacking on the pass and run (what do you expect they are all rookies).
OFFENCE - they are trying to run a spread offence with quick passes to help out the offensive line, but I think someone forgot to tell the QB (get rid of the ball). The O-line are struggling a bit on the run and pass, but eventually they will get their (what you have to remember half of these guys are rookies). They have a good RB who can make yards and be a game breaker if he decides to run the ball straight not to the sides. The Wide Receivers are all young and still trying to get a feel for the game. Their QB seems to be hot and cold (mostly cold) but when he is on the money he can hurt any defence. Overall this team is good on their day and hopefully they will win games. Or their coach will ripe them a new asshole. All they have to do is listen and learn , and they should do ok.
